Lighter than almost all the other shoes in this category, the Hoka Speedgoat Mid GTX is an ultralight boot which will provide a cushioned and supportive feel on a variety of trial surfaces for runners and walkers alike. Equal parts Speedgoat and mid-cut fast hiker, the Speedgoat Mid GTX 2 is that sweet spot between a trail runner and hiking boot and is a force to be reckoned with on any day.

The premium lightweight and breathable GORE-TEX waterproof bootie keeps your feet dry and the anatomically designed foam collar provides additional ankle support.

A new lightweight foam in the midsole gives a more responsive ride, whilst the wider forefoot offers a more stable ride and accommodating fit. The Vibram® Megagrip Zonal rubber and 5mm stepped lugs on the outsole provides grip in wet and dry conditions to offer additional support and stability.

The trademark Hoka Metarocker will allow you to cover miles on the trail or coast path effortlessly and is a great alternative to those heavier less flexible walking boots. There is still a supreme amount of cushioning and amazing levels of comfort, as you'd expect from Hoka, so that certainly hasn't been sacrificed for the more responsive feel and propulsive feel.
